Gooey Salted Caramel Cupcakes
Ingredients:
Cupcakes:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Filling:
1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Frosting:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Extra salted caramel sauce for drizzling
Directions:
Preheat & Prep: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla.
Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
Bake: Divide batter into liners, bake for 18-20 minutes, and cool.
Fill with Caramel: Cut centers from cooled cupcakes, fill with caramel sauce.
Frost & Drizzle: Beat butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla for frosting. Frost and drizzle with caramel.
