This creamy Junk Yard Salad recipe is a retro dessert salad everyone will want to try. Made with cherry pie filling, pineapple, mini marshmallows, condensed milk, vanilla pudding, and Cool Whip. Save it for your next family dinner or party.

Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry pie filling, 21 oz
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, 20 oz, drained
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 package dry vanilla pudding mix, 1 oz
  • 1 container Cool Whip, 8 oz, thawed

Instructions

  1. Add cherry pie filling, drained crushed pineapple, and sweetened condensed milk to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Stir until well combined.
  3. Add the dry vanilla pudding mix and stir until fully mixed.
  4. Fold in the mini marshmallows and thawed Cool Whip.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy.

 

Notes

 

Drain the pineapple before adding it to the salad.

For best texture, chill the salad overnight.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
